Overview

We now have a full on reward system activated on our site! This system give you instant rewards as soon as points are earned! How do you earn points? Below is listed the various methods:

• Order Something! - Whenever you place an order, each item on your order will have a point value. Typically each whole dollar an item cost equals 1 point. Sometimes point values can vary, but not too often. Typically items in our Specials section will have higher point values. Earned points will be applied once an order is shipped or a preorder is prepaid.
  
  
• Contribute to the Site! - Upload Gallery images of certain items by visiting it and clicking the Gallery Upload icon and filling out the form. 1 point will be rewarded per upload, but then an additional 2 points will be awarded once its approved OR an addition 3 points if your image is 'HEADLINED', meaning it becomes the main item image that represents the merchandise in search results and the items details. We'll also be designing a system to earn more points by contributing reviews and tags as well as becoming a moderator. Rate Items in an item's detail page and earn 1 point for each 20 items rated.
  
  
• Trade In Merchandise - We now offer store credit through P3 points for acceptable trade-in merchandise! For each US domestically released manga in acceptible condition will be worth 20 points. Manga must be in good, re-sell condition with no 'dog-eared' pages, no noticeable markings, no rips/tears, and at most light white page fading. For each US Domestically released anime DVD disc is worth 20 points. Discs cannot be scratched and must come with original dvd case. If its a box set made up of 3 discs or more, each disc will be 25 points each. When sending your items, please include a list of each item you are sending and its quantity, along with your first and last name, your return mailing address, your phone number, and your user name on our site. All information is strictly confidential and is only used for the trade in transaction. We recommend using USPS Media Mail as we find it to be the most economical way of shipping books and dvds.
  
  
• Affiliate - We have an affiliate program that pays out every $25 earned from each 7% commission earned through customers purchasing things after clicking through your site. We now offer 600 points ($30 in store credit) in exchange of the $25 payment!
  
  
• Refer Friends (coming soon) - Not available yet, but we'll offer 1 point for a referrer for each point a referred friend earns on purchases up to 100 points!
  
  
• Maxx Shokk Art Submissions - [added 10/14/2009] Email us an original work with our mascot (and allow us the royalties to use it ^_^) and earn 20 to 200 points judged on its detail, style, cleanliness, and attitude!
  
  
• Listen To My Twitter - [added 10/14/2009] Join 'PowerAnime' on Twitter to get the scoop on our day-to-day findings and activities, as well as hearing special deals and point earning opportunities only done on Twitter!
  
  

• Use On Any Order - Each point on straight up use on any order is worth $.05 per point.
  
  
• Direct Item Purchases - Every item on this this site has a P3 Point Cost which is how many points you will need to use in order to get the item for free! The P3 Point Cost value will typically be less points needed than the straight up point value. Look for special super-hot low point deals in the Specials and Clearance sections!
  
  
• Exclusive Points-Only Products - Every once in a while we'll offer items exclusively to our members for points only. These will typically be for promotions, or super special members' only giveaways!
  
  
• Point Drawings (coming soon) - We'll be offering some items as drawing prizes. Basically, customers will put points toward an item that has a point drawing value where each point is an entry into a drawing for the item. A winner would be found through a drawing after the amount of entries equals the item's point drawing value. The winner's handle/log-on name will be posted on the item detail listing, our community-blog section, and in the forum.
  
  
• Point Auctions (coming soon) - Some items we post will be going for 'point auctions' where customers 'bid' on items with points. The items will have a limited amount of time bidding can happen, and the time frames can vary from auction to auction.
  
  
• Contests - Sometimes we will offer contests that require the use of points to enter. These may be offered on our blog which is in the Community Section of this site, or offered off of our Twitter with instructions on what to do (Join 'PowerAnime' on Twitter today!). It'll cost points to get in on a contest, but there's no guarantee you'll win. The payout will be good though. Are you up for the challenge? Contests will include 'egg hunts' (special clicks on our site), anime club participation activities, drawing competitions, photo competitions, and other media submission competitions.
